This is the full guitar lesson for Be Good Or Be Gone, written by Irish folk singer-songerwriter Fionn Regan. The song was a single on his debut album "The End of History," released in February 2005.
This is a really great song to learn for intermediate players. There's just a few simple chords to learn and the structure of the song is very straightforward.
The hardest thing about learning Be Good Or Be Gone is all the added notes to the chords. Instead of just fingerpicking his way through the basic shapes, Regan has added a more melodic line in his playing. It's a little tricky at first but once you've learnt it it not only sounds great it's also great fun to play.
OK, let's get on with the Lesson!

How to Play the Chorus of Be Good Or Be Gone
With the exception of the brief outro, the chorus is the only other section of Be Good Or Be Gone that you need to learn.
I'd go as far as to say that the chorus is probably a little bit easier to play than the verse. So if you were OK with that then you probably won't struggle too much with this section.

There's just this short outro to learn now and it's actually a little tricky at first. There's quite a bit going on and the notes move by pretty fast. As always, just practice very slowly if you're struggling with it.
